Qasr Noun, a restored heritage estate in Ain Anub above Beirut, suits small and intimate weddings: a long table under the olive trees, the quiet fountain courtyard, and the balcony at sunset. We do not publish exact prices or capacities, so send us your date and guest count. Sourced market figures for Lebanon are below.
A small wedding is not a smaller version of a big one. It is a different evening: one table instead of thirty, every face known, and room for the setting to matter. This page covers which spaces at Qasr Noun suit a close circle, how costs change with the guest list in Lebanon, why weekday dates are worth a look, and what to ask any venue. We do not publish exact prices or capacities; here is how our pricing works. Every market figure below is sourced, and none of them is a Qasr Noun price.
What counts as a small wedding in Lebanon
Lebanese guest lists are long. One bride told The Sandy Times in 2025 that in Lebanon “the average number of guests is usually closer to 600,” and that her own 250 to 300 guests were “considered modest by local standards” (The Sandy Times). That is one person's view, not a survey.
The picture is shifting. In June 2026 the planner Elias Khalil told The Beiruter that some couples “reduced their guest lists from 500 people to 100,” and the paper found many couples moving “away from spectacle and towards lower-cost, simpler alternatives” (The Beiruter, 2026). In this guide, a small wedding means immediate family and the friends you would call at 2 AM. For some families that is 30 people; for others, 100.
Which spaces at Qasr Noun suit a small group
A large venue can feel empty with a short guest list. An estate with several smaller places avoids that: you use the spaces that fit, in sequence.
| Space | For a small wedding |
|---|---|
| The olive terraces | One long table under old trees, for a dinner where everyone can hear the speeches |
| The fountain courtyard | Close and quiet: the Katb Kteb, or dinner for the two families |
| The arcade | Five pointed arches behind your vows |
| The balcony | The sun going down into the sea; portraits and a toast |
| The olive tree | An afternoon gathering before the evening begins |
| The 1895 door | An entrance with its year carved above it |
A small wedding can move through the estate as the light changes: vows under the arcade, the sunset from the balcony, then the long table under the olive trees as the lanterns come on. The whole day is yours until 1:30 AM. Tell us your guest count, and we will show you which spaces fit it.

Small wedding venues in Lebanon with prices: how costs scale
Wedding costs in Lebanon come in two kinds. Some rise and fall with every guest. Others stay the same whether you invite 40 people or 400. The wedding planner Rasha Abi Aad Nader, quoted by The Beiruter in June 2026, put food at $60 to $120 per person without drinks, with another $6 to $20 per person for drinks, and venue rental at $7,000 to $30,000 depending on the space. Our guide to what a wedding costs in Lebanon collects these and other published figures, line by line.
Put those two kinds of cost side by side and the shape of a small wedding becomes clear.
| Guests | Food and drink at $66 to $140 a guest | A $7,000 to $30,000 venue fee, per guest |
|---|---|---|
| 40 | $2,640 to $5,600 | $175 to $750 |
| 60 | $3,960 to $8,400 | $117 to $500 |
| 80 | $5,280 to $11,200 | $88 to $375 |
| 100 | $6,600 to $14,000 | $70 to $300 |
Arithmetic on the published mid to high-end ranges quoted in The Beiruter, 26 June 2026. These are not quotes, and not Qasr Noun prices. Photography, also priced in the same article, is another fixed cost that does not shrink with the guest list.
Two lessons follow. First, a flat venue fee is kind to large weddings and hard on small ones: the fixed costs are spread over fewer people. Second, cutting guests still saves real money. At the published rates, twenty fewer guests is $1,320 to $2,800 back in the budget. For reference, Lebanese press reports from 2025 put a wedding for about 100 guests at $20,000 to $30,000, and a bride marrying in late September reported about $15,000 before her own preparations. Both figures are in our cost guide, with their sources.
Watch for minimums too. Some all-in offers are written for large weddings: Pleine Nature's published 2026 per-guest package, for example, applies to 150 guests and more, Monday to Thursday only (Pleine Nature, 2026).
Affordable wedding venues in Lebanon: where a small wedding saves
- The date. July and August are the peak, when families abroad fly home. Our month-by-month guide shows that June and September are nearly as dry in the hills, with about two rainy days a month on average.
- The day of the week. Some venues price weekdays lower. Château Cana's published 2023 card set its weekday rental $1,000 below its weekend rate, as our cost guide records.
- What is included. Compare a package against the sum of its parts. At Qasr Noun the full package includes sound and lighting, dry ice and cold-spark volcanoes, chairs and tables, a 150 kVA generator, parking organised at the gate and restrooms for guests. See what the wedding package includes.
- Decoration. Old stone, arches and a view need fewer flowers than a blank hall.
Weekday dates for a small wedding
A weekday suits a small wedding well. Fewer guests means fewer people to free from work, and the people who matter most will make the time. Two cautions. Guests driving up from Beirut on a weekday evening may meet after-work traffic, so start later than you would on a Saturday. Ain Anub is about 15 to 20 km by road from central Beirut, roughly 18 to 20 minutes on an empty road; read where Ain Anub is for the full table. And if relatives are flying in, a weekday wedding can shorten their trip; our page on a destination wedding in Lebanon covers guests travelling from abroad.
Ask us, and every venue on your list, whether a weekday changes the quote.

What to ask a venue about a small wedding
- Minimums. Is there a minimum guest count or a minimum spend?
- Flat or per guest. How is the fee built, and what does it come to for our number?
- The right room. Which space fits our guest count without feeling empty?
- Staff. How many waiters and coordinators will work, and is that scaled to our size?
- Exclusivity. Will another event share the venue on our day?
- Hours. When does the night end, and what does an extra hour cost? At Qasr Noun the day runs until 1:30 AM with no extra-hour charge.
- Deposit. How much confirms the date, and can it move? At Qasr Noun, a 35% down payment confirms a date.
